Thank you again for another photo of yesterday's Number One as today's Number One. The man is perfection and he's not a 23 young man. Who does not look fabulous at 23?
Happy Thanksgiving! What do Canadians do for Thanksgiving? .

Here in Canada, Thanksving isn't celebrated as much as in USA.

It's a «federal» holiday and as in Province of Québec where I live (Montreal) religion, most of us are Catholics, we are no more going in churches or really practicing many of the rituals.

So here, no turkey on our table and last week we saw some saying that this «religious» holiday should be out of our calendar as a celebration day.

Also with all the scandals upon the native resident schools from the past where many childred were taken from their parents and died anonymously this Thanksgiving celebration did lose all its meaning.

Not to forget all the other bad behaviors from the priest raping kids males of young women which was disgusting to many who simply stopped practicing Catholic rituals and no more going to church.

Before 1960 Catholic church here in Province of Québec was in phase with the politic power. The priest and bishops were leading the people in any part of our lives which was soon seen as bad.

After 1962 we had here what we call the «Revolution Tranquile» (Calm Revolution) which has thrown out of any public services any religious people. No more religion in schools, hospitals, government fields etc...

In Canada, religious orientation or believes are no more influencial on our politics. Nothing as in USA.

Thanksgiving here in Canada is definitely not as big a holiday as it is in the US, though many do still get together for a big meal (not necessarily turkey) with family/friends. For many, it marks the end of cottage/camp season, and the weekend is used to close up said properties until next spring.
