Bruce is in the hospital undergoing tests. I found him on the bathroom floor when I came home from my run on Thurs morning. He was breathing and had a strong pulse but I couldn't bring him around. He came to in the ambulance but was very confused. They have ruled out a stroke Thank God. His speech is clear, he can read and hold a pen to do the crossword. He has no trouble walking and still has a grip of steel.
I had to smile...the doctor asked Bruce to squeeze his hands as hard as he could. Bruce was a baker...50 years of kneading bread and buns have given him a grip of steel. The doctor actually yelped and sat there flexing his hands. There are ultrasounds and other tests scheduled for Monday. He rembers tipping his head back to shave and the next thing he remembers is being taken out of the ambulance at the hospital.
They are testing him for Carotid Stenosis which is a constriction of the arteries leading into the head.

I will keep you posted.

Please keep us posted Bryn, I will keep Bruce in my prayers tonight and till he gets better. So happy to hear, that he had a strong grip for the Doctor and has no trouble walking. Now just make sure he doesn't try to grab the cute male nurses.
